Chapter V Immigration and Ethnicity

This chapter focuses on the diverse composition of the American populaiton, the different concepts of the melting pot and the salad bowl, Amercian immigration policies, the attractions and disadvantages of the Affirmative Action programs. It also discusses Martin Luther King, Junior’s contribution to civil disobedience in America, and the problems on confronting Asian Amercians.
